A Legacy of Literary Excellence

Detroit Main Library - Main Library 

Join us as we celebrate 50 years of Broadside Press.  The anniversary event will honor Dudley Randall and other poets and individuals whose significant contributions laid the foundation for Broadside Press. The evening will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a Reception in Strohm Hall, featuring The Next Generation Jazz Ensemble under the direction of award-winning jazz bassist, Marion Hayden.  The formal Program will begin at 8:15 p.m. in the Clara Stanton Jones Friends Auditorium, with poetry and music performances culminating with the presentation of the 2015 Dudley Randall Legacy Award.
