We'll be livestreaming the conference hosted by the Cleveland Public Library for a day celebrating African American literary heritage and contemporary trends. This one-of-a-kind experience is packed with opportunities to connect, learn, and be inspired.

Our 8th celebration of GLAAWC welcomes nationally renowned author, Diane McKinney Whetstone, introducing her new novel “Family Spirit,” as well as publishing industry expert, Kim M. Sadler as keynote speakers.
- Panel Discussions: Experience rich and thought-provoking conversations with industry panelists, particularly, in celebrating Black resilience and triumphant stories of overcoming adversity.
- Heritage and Inspiration: Celebrate a legacy of creativity with Black writers, poets, and storytellers who have paved the way as well as those who have received the torch that has since been passed.
