Detroit Public Library Author Series

The Author Series Committee at the Detroit Public Library coordinates in-person and virtual engagements with renowned authors across Detroit's large, diverse library system. Author series events are free and not ticketed, but you can register on Eventbrite to receive updates and reminders about events. Seats are available on a first-come, first-term basis. Copies of books are often available for purchase from a local bookstore.

We have an exciting lineup of authors for our 2025 fall and winter Author Series. Use the scrollbar below to view the events. Click on any event to be taken to the Eventbrite page for additional details.
