Five Detroit Public Library branches will be closed for periods this fall for interior painting. The scheduled closures are as follows:
- Chandler Park: Closed September 21-26
- Wilder: Closed September 28-October 3
- Lincoln: Closed October 5-10
- Franklin: Closed October 12-17
- Jefferson: Closed October 19-24
