Day of the Dead Celebration featuring Detroit's Ballet Folklorico
We will be celebrating Dia de los Muertos, Day of the Dead, in our children's department. We will have stories, crafts, and a wonderful performance by Detroit's Ballet Folklorico. Day of the Dead (Dia De Los Muertos) is a two day holiday that reunites the living and dead. Families create ofrendas (Offerings) to honor their departed family members that have passed. Come learn about this important holiday and partake in the celebration of the continuity of life.
