Discover with DPL @ the DIA
Join Library Liz for a free family tour of the DIA's Native American Collection!
Attendees should meet Library Liz @ the DIA by 1:45pm to connect with your tour leader. You will want to come through the Loggia/Group Entrance - the only entrance to the museum on John R street. You will know you are in the right place because you will see the bus circle outside.
If little one's haven't had a chance to explore the DIA, or maybe just not for a while, bring your family to enjoy this rare, off-site, library program - an exploration of the Native American art featured at our very own Detroit Institute of Art. Those of you who participate with this library exclusive event will receive a personalized tour AND special give-aways for Native American Heritage Month from the DPL.
- All attendees under 18 years old must be accompanied and attended by an adult.
- DIA rules require no purses, backpacks, fannypacks, or bags of any kind allowed on tour, so if you do not wish to check the bag - please don't bring one.
