The Business, Science & Technology Department (BST) on the second floor of the Main Library is now open at the Detroit Public Library!
BST has 16 public internet access computers and a lot more! The Xerox printers allow customers to scan-to-email and print straight from your phone - in black and white or color copies.
Customers will find books on many subjects, including computers, the sciences, technology, health, and automotive repair. There is an extensive business collection to help interested users start and run a small business or nonprofit organization. Patent, trademark and copyright assistance is available from trained DPL reference librarians. Customers will also find a large collection of cookbooks of all types, as well as gardening and urban farming. Please check out this newly re-opened department on your next visit!
