May the Force Be With You Star Wars Celebration

Join us for an out-of-this-galaxy Star Wars celebration inspired by a galaxy far, far away! Young Padawans can enjoy episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, test their skills with “Pin the Lightsaber on Yoda,” take part in our LEGO spaceship creation contest, enjoy coloring sheets, and join a scavenger hunt through the galaxies. Fuel your adventure with some astronaut snacks and get ready to celebrate the Force in epic style! Costumes are encouraged. Children of all ages are welcome, best suited for ages 6-12.
Star Wars Day Celebration

May the 4th be with you young Jedi! Celebrate the world of Star Wars in the park behind the Douglass Library with our Star Wars obsessed youth librarian! Train with your lightsaber to master the seven forms of lightsaber combat and receive your gifts from the force (goodie bags.) Inflatable lightsabers for you to keep will be provided but feel free to bring your own! Paper crafts will also be provided for those who are not interested in the training.
