Bowen Branch Adult Book Club

Chandler Park Adult Book Club

Chandler Park's long-running adult book club reads a variety of fiction genres and nonfiction. A limited number of each title is available for checkout at the branch!

The Silent Book Club (SBC) is a global community of readers who get together to silently read anything they want. No assigned reading, just Bring Your Own Book. Come hang out at Conely, read your favorite book, and enjoy some quiet vibes with fellow book lovers and refreshments.

Third Wednesday of the Month, 2:30 – 3:30 pm

Explore thought-provoking sci-fi titles—ranging from classic space adventures to modern, mind-bending stories about technology, humanity, and the future. Book selections will be determined by the group together, and available for check out at the library.

Parkman Branch Deep Dive Book Club—Origins of the Urban Crisis

The Parkman Branch is reading Origins of the Urban Crisis by Thomas J. Sugrue ahead of the author’s visit in March! We’ll meet once a month to share our thoughts and finish the book together in February.

Sherwood Forest Branch - Comic Vs. Chapter Book Club

Thursdays, October 15, November 19, and December 17, 2026, 6:00 – 7:00 pm

Choose between the comic book and chapter book of a popular story to read, then join us to chat about the books and enjoy pizza. Books are available to check out the month before, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is highly recommended. For ages 8-12. Please call the library to confirm dates.
