Cynthia Eagan is the Children's and Young Adult Librarian at the Duffield Branch. Ms. Cynthia has been a librarian with the Detroit Public Library for 12 years. Ms. Cynthia is using her time away from the branch to learn how DPL's digital resources might better serve young people. She believes “libraries are great places for young people to get ideas about careers--not just by using career guides, but by reading, to learn from lived experience.” Ms. Cynthia hopes that DPL continues to help people with their lifelong learning goals.
Ms. Cynthia enjoys graphic novels. She really enjoyed Jessica Abel's "La Perdida" and is now reading the author's "Trish Trash Rollergirl of Mars" via Hoopla.
