Genevieve is the manager of the Popular Library and Music, Arts & Literature departments in the Main Library of the Detroit Public Library. Before joining the Detroit Public Library over 25 years ago, she was a high school English teacher and corporate librarian. Additionally, Genevieve taught classes for several years as an adjunct faculty member in Wayne State University’s School of Library & Information Science.
Genevieve enjoys developing programming for musical and literary events. She likes assisting customers and book clubs find a new bestseller to read and discussing their creative interests. Currently, she hosts virtual journaling and creative writing workshops.
In her free time, Genevieve likes cooking and spending time with family. She especially enjoys reading mysteries, biographies and poetry.
