ProjectArt at the Detroit Public Library

ProjectArt is back at the Detroit Public Library for a new year of free art classes for children and teens! Classes run from the week of September 29th, 2025 through the week of May 27th, 2025. While enrollment is ongoing throughout the year, registration is required as space is limited. This year, you can find ProjectArt at five library locations throughout the city.

Duffield Branch

• Tuesdays: 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. for ages 4 – 12
• Thursdays: 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. for ages 13 – 18

Elmwood Park Branch

• Thursdays: 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. for ages 4 – 12

Lincoln Branch

• Mondays: 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. for ages 4 – 12
• Saturdays: 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. for ages 13 – 18

Main Library

• Tuesdays: 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. for ages 4 –12
• Thursdays: 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. for ages 8 – 12

Sherwood Forest Branch

• Saturdays: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for ages 4 – 7
• Wednesdays: 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. for ages 8 – 12
