Reading Dragons & Friends are coming to the Jefferson and Edison Branches this fall! This round of the playing card program created by the Dover Public Library in Dover, Ohio will run from September through November 2026. Earn collectible cards for the reading you are already doing!
How it works:
Each card features a different mythical creature and can be used to play against each other and library staff members.
When you're ready to get started, visit the circulation desk at Jefferson or Edison to sign up and collect your first dragons. Here's what you'll receive:
- Starter set of dragon cards
- Rules card
- Reading tracker
- Egg checklist
- Collector's card box
For every thirty minutes of reading tracked, you can choose to either earn a new creature or evolve an existing creature.
This round of Reading Dragons will feature four new creatures each month (September, October, and November). Discover their exciting evolutions at the Jefferson and Edison library branches!
