Super STEAM Storytime– Hispanic Star Edition

Experiment with us every 2nd Wednesday of the month with a fun-filled educational program involving Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and/or Math. For October, join us for a special storytime with a special guest on one of the greatest soccer players all of time, Pele. Then, create your own foosball tabletop soccer game you can take home.

Bring stories to life, one brick at a time in our LEGO Storytime where we read engaging books and then use our imaginations to create LEGO builds inspired by the stories. All LEGO materials will be provided. After each session, creations will be displayed in the library for the week. This program is designed for children 5-12.

- September 12, 3:00 – 4:00 pm: Celebrate busses with Pigeon from Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus and The Seals on the Bus. Make fun Seals on the Bus paper puppets to sing the song at home!
- October 10, 3:00 – 4:00 pm: It’s Prince and Princess Day! Feel free to wear your favorite prince and princess clothes and hear a fun prince and princess story. Make a crown scepter to take home.
- November 14, 3:00 – 4:00 pm: It’s Hibernation Day! Hear a fun story about hibernation, Bear Can’t Sleep, and learn to breathe like a bear. Have fun using a fork to paint a bear.
- December 12, 3:00 – 4:00 pm: Winter is a great time to hear a story about Snowmen at Night, and color you own coffee filter snowflake.
