
In celebration of African American Music Month, Detroit artists Carla Rivers-Johnson (violin) and Jasmine James (cello), together Florella Strings, are performing at the Detroit Public Library's Parkman Branch. The duo will be playing music highlighting African American artists throughout history and sharing their personal experiences. The concert is family friendly and light refreshments will be served.
The free performance will take place on Wednesday, June 11th from 6-7pm at the Detroit Public Library's Parkman Branch, 1766 Oakman Blvd.
