- Computer classes: Improve your skills with classes ranging from email and basic skills to Microsoft Office. See the Technology Training Catalog for the full list of classes.
- Device help: Get one-on-one help with your phone, tablet, or laptop.
Literacy
- Literacy Program for Adults: In-person reading and writing tutoring for adults. For details on applying or volunteering as a tutor, see the Literacy Program for Adults page.
Career
- Resume building: Learn how to use tools that make resume writing easy. TLC staff can also provide tips for making your skills and experience stand out.
- One-on-One resume review: Schedule a one-on-one session to review your resume and get it ready for submissions. One-on-one resume review sessions require an appointment. Schedule yours by calling (313) 481-1363 or emailing tlc@detroitpubliclibrary.org.
- Job search: Find out about local hiring events, career fairs, and job training programs. Staff can also help you search for your next job on various career and job websites.
