Summer Reading Kick-Off

A super interactive comic book workshop with Kam Komics. Learn to create your own comic books, by combining storytelling, art, and rap to make a comic that's as unique as you!
Teen Vision Boards
Tuesday, July 1, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
An all-day Vision Board Program to focus on your goals, dreams, and aspirations. This hands-on experience will guide you through creating a powerful vision board to help bring your dreams to life!
Judge a Book by its Cover
Friday, July 18 at 4:00 pm
Kids will be given a random book title and will create a cover for the book. The closest drawing to the actual book cover will win a cool prize!
Painting with a Twist
Monday, July 14 at 7:00 pm
In this “kid-friendly” paint and sip event, kids will follow along with a virtual instructor to paint their own masterpiece while enjoying snacks and refreshing drinks.
Odd Squad Experience (Ages 5-8)
Wednesday, July 16, 4:00 - 5:00 pm
Step into the world of Odd Squad with Detroit PBS Kids! This hilarious and educational show helps kids build math skills while solving weird and wacky mysteries. We’ll bring Odd Squad to life with video clips, hands-on activities, and fun themed books.
Peg + Cat Experience (Ages 3 - 5)

Join Peg and her lovable sidekick Cat as they solve problems and explore the world of early math. This session by Detroit PBS Kids will feature Peg + Cat video screenings, engaging math activities, and storytime with related books.
