Summer Reading Kick Off Party and Bob Ross Paint Along

Join us for pizza and pop, and a “Bob Ross” painting lesson. Follow the guidance of legendary painter Bob Ross in an episode of his “Joy of Painting” television program and create our own masterpieces.
The Art of Graffiti

Explore the history of graffiti culture and design a tag of your own, or even spray your own masterpiece.
Pour and Pendulum Painting
Friday, June 27, 4:00 – 5:30 pm
Experiment with a pendulum station or splatter paint across your canvas to create your own unique abstract artwork.
Beginner Animation Course
Wednesday, July 2, 4:00 – 5:30 pm
Learn how to use accessible free tools like MS Paint to animate your own dynamic art pieces. Upon completion, you’ll know how to create future projects on your own!
3D Printed Sculpture Workshop
Monday, July 14, 4:00 – 6:00 pm
Stimulate your creativity and learn how to design a 3D model to your exact specifications using free online tools. Get it printed for free!
Peg + Cat Experience (Ages 3 - 5)

Join Peg and her lovable sidekick Cat as they solve problems and explore the world of early math. This session by Detroit PBS Kids will feature Peg + Cat video screenings, engaging math activities, and storytime with related books.
